Jonathan Garnier is a french photographer that moved from Paris to California in 2008.
In 2010 he releases his art book ‘California Trips’, his work is focused on the beautiful and violent nature of the present day American west. In progress is ‘United Flesh’, a photographic research illustrating the bridge of culture from the post WWII Americana to the image of the US today : a parallel between the american dream of the 50’s and the present day social and cultural landscape which shaped them.
Jonathan develops a unique style to process his pictures and make them look “hyper realistic”.
