RVRS – Classic Series

This series represents a different approach to my photographic research. Unlike United Project, which explored historical themes with a colorful, illustration-like layout echoing photojournalism and street photography, this work shifts toward another register.

Here, in black and white, I seek intimacy and emotional resonance, a closer relationship with the subject. Rather than evoking history, the images lean toward an oneiric form of photography, sometimes reduced to pure impressions. I also explored portraiture, which proved more challenging to situate in specific contexts, yet allowed greater freedom for the viewer’s own interpretation.
